Accomodation For Prague

With the game against Czech Republic rapidly approaching, your Away Game Convenor has sorted out the accommodation. We will once again be staying in a hostel, and the details are as follows;

I’ve paid the £21.56 deposit and the rest of the cash is payable upon arrival. 400 Czechs money a night, roughly £12-13 per nicht.

Only thing to sort out is transport from the airport, but I’ll get that sorted ASAP. Very happy with the cost as all in - flights and accomodation - we are still under the £200 budget. Bloody crapping oor pants for Macedonia though, we've not even started to look into that!!




Flag Update

Well, look what arrived at ITA's Edinburgh quarters the other day. Still taking donations to cover its substantial cost, however its presence has re-ignited the ITA's stature as the best TA group in the area. Do Peebles have a Tartan Army?



ITA Footballing Representative.

It is with great delight that we can report that Innerleithen Tartan Army’s footballing representative, Ross Campbell, played 75 minutes for Hibs in the SPL top 6 game vs Rangers. A huge game for the local community, with Innerleithen legend Campbell taking on Peebles' Kevin Thomson. We reckon Campbell wins automatically for being from Innerleithen, and not being a sell-out money grabber playing for the Queen's XI.

ITA Get-together/AGM

Innerleithen Tartan Army is to have a mass get-together to discuss all things ITA related and drink some beer. A provisional date of Saturday the 9th August has been penned in the diary. It is hoped that ALL members attend, and we hope to announce a venue and time shortly.

Nominated to chair the event is N Serge. On the agenda will be the proposal of the first ITA charity event and possibly world record attempt, raising awareness of the club, future travels to both home and away games and which bev is better - Belhaven Best or Tennents Lager? So get it in your diary, if you're unable to attend please e-mail us or leave a message in the guestbook and we can sort out a date that suits everyone!
