Frances Healy, Met by Bobby in Edinburgh
Frances Healy is an Irish actress, comedienne, radio and television presenter, and is argueably most famous for her role as Niamh Corrigan in River City, although her impressive CV also boasts appearances in Taggart, The Magdalene Sisters and Serpent's Kiss, where she starred alongside Euan McGregor. In 2004 she was the winner of the Best New Comedy Act at The Govan Celtic Fringe Festival, and made the semi finals of Channel 4's "So You Think Your Funny?" competition.
