Ross Campbell, Met by the ITA at the Grand Flag Unveiling, St Ronan's Hotel Innerleithen
Local lad Ross Campbell came through the ranks at Innerleithen youth side Leithen Vale, where he came to the attention of Hibernian and signed for their youth team. Campbell shot to prominence in July 2007 when he scored against Japan in Scotland Under 20's World Cup match in Canada, and is also now a member of the Hibs first team squad. Campbell recieved his first Scotland Under 21 call-up in August 2007, and is currently on loan to First Division side Dunfermline.
