Aberdeen defender Zander Diamond graduated from the club's youth system and has been a first team regular since breaking into the side in 2003. Zander captained the Scotland Under 21 side in his younger days, but more recently he fell out of the International fold as his form suffered and his indiscipline on the field hindered his progress. 2007/2008 however, was a far more productive year for Zander, and several impressive showings at the heart of Aberdeen's defence has seen his stock rise once again.
